Dear Friend of the Medical Service Corps,

For more than 40 years, the Brigadier General Donald B. Wagner Perpetual Scholarship Fund has honored the legacy of a true pioneer—Brig Gen Don Wagner, the first Air Force Medical Service Corps Officer to achieve the rank of general officer. His trailblazing service laid the foundation for generations of leadership in military medicine and beyond.

Today, we invite you to join us in carrying that legacy forward.

Each year, the Wagner Fund awards scholarships to the children and grandchildren of U.S. Air Force MSC officers—students pursuing degrees in healthcare management and related fields at accredited institutions. These scholarships not only provide vital financial assistance, but also serve as a tangible expression of the MSC community’s enduring support and unity.

In the last five years alone, we’ve awarded 64 scholarship grants to 33 deserving scholars totaling $108,000 — future administrators, nurses, physicians, researchers, and business leaders who are already making their mark.

But we need your help to do more.

Whether you choose to give $100.00 or a $1000.00 or contribute any amount that fits your means, your gift will have a lasting impact. Nearly 100% of donations go directly to supporting student scholarships. Your generosity helps remove financial barriers, reduce student debt, and open doors for those who will carry forward the MSC legacy of excellence.
